My brothers and sisters are a distance long
As my mind stays parked in its space,
But while a reunion’s urge stays strong,
Fear shows its mileage ‘pon my face.
The transportation awaits
And is ready to take me down many trails,
Swerving and turning as my heart debates
If eye-to-eye reunions mean eye-to-eye fails.
Baggage is not an issue for this travel
Here in the age of spring;
I do not have much to unravel,
Except one honest thing:
‘Love for siblings cannot be disguised,
Be they blood or otherwise.’
