– your hand –

I don’t want to let go of your hand,
firm and strong it is… or,  should I say, was.
I don’t want to let go of your hand,
slipping from my grasp, and it’s all because you

showed your face, exposed your heel, and let me see your ass. These
worlds and ways of whole dismay, yet you still don’t know half.
I don’t want to let go of your hand,
a rough and ashen grip that has turned into dust.
